Director Luca Guadagnino is set to reunite Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer in the roles of Elio and Oliver respectively in the #CallMeByYourName movie sequel and we couldn’t be happier 🍑 . The film is the follow-up to the Oscar-winning ‘Call Me By Your Name’ released in 2017 and is believed to explore the AIDS crisis in Berlin in 1989. This plot is a clear diversion from the original novel, ‘Find Me’, written by André Aciman and released last year. Hello-

they should use the epilogue section of the original novel. said section
chronicles Elio and Oliver meeting a handful of times over a 20 year period.

I just finished reading “Find Me”. Its such a frustrating / insufferable book.

The New Yorker “These characters are so unreal…that any specificity at all becomes embarrassing, as if Aciman were revealing his particular turn-ons …”

I am hopeful that Luca Guadagnino can elevate the material and make it a better film.
