Sarah Paulson was papped filming as serial killer Aileen Wuornos for the upcoming season of Monster. The main focus of the season is on Lizzie Borden but other female killers will also be featured.

It’s obvious that Hollywood has run out of fresh ideas, but the scraping of the cartoon IPs-to horror pipeline doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon. Betty Boop is the latest classic to get a live-action B-horror made in its likeness:
“Getting your classic cartoon told as a horror film is still mind-blowing, but what sets Boop apart from all the other horror IPs is her motivation,” Jessica Russo, COO of VMI, said in a statement. “Boop’s dark history is extremely grim, but this telling allows her to get her power back. A true testament to feminism led by a predominantly female team.”
Jarrett Furst added: “When I learned this cartoon was entering the public domain, I knew there was something special waiting to happen. This team—brimming with extraordinary talent both in front of and behind the camera—absolutely blew me away. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Get ready for a wildly violent, ridiculously fun ride… and trust me, this is only the beginning.”

VMI Worldwide is apparently taking Boop, a horror take on the classic Betty Boop cartoon, to the American Film Market. Would this be the type of thing you’d watch at home, OMG?

Ever since they fired Mellissa Barrera from her lead role in the upcoming sequel Scream 7 to punish her for social media posts she had made which described the Israeli government’s actions in the Gaza war as “genocide and ethnic cleansing” – it seems as if the SCREAM franchise may have a few bolts loose in their sequel.
Aside from bad phone screen burn-ins and a Ghostface voice that sounds like its straight out of Scary Movie, along with a new lead to replace Mellissa… we have questions as to whether or not this will be any good. Check out the brand new trailer above. Thoughts?

The couple has a history of creating jaw-dropping Halloween spectacles, including a 2021 plane wreck featuring skeleton passengers and a parachuting skeleton caught in a tree, plus a 2022 upside-down vehicle crash scene. However, their 2023 burning house display marked their most impressive achievement—realistic enough to fool people year after year. Check out their latest tricker, above!
