Megan celebrates how small businesses like this help rebuild community and keep LA’s creative spirit alive.

Electro-rocker pioneeer Peaches if back with her latest track NO LUBE, SO RUDE, directed by Matt Lambert. On the name, the singer/rapper/producer says:
“The title is always the last thing to come, once I have the big picture. No Lube So Rude is the name of one of the songs, which is about how we can help the friction of the world. We need to smooth it around a little because we have so much irritation and dryness.

We are currently facing the challenge of developing our used property and, above all, ensuring fire protection in order to have a long-term perspective here. We need your donations for this.
In close cooperation with the district, the owner of the property and fire protection engineers, we are developing measures to meet the requirements, conditions and wishes of all parties involved. What this means in concrete terms will become clear over the next few months as the fire protection concept is developed.
However, we are already certain that we will not be able to do this without help. Possible scenarios include rebuilding and adapting the fire department access road, laying a dry pipeline across several properties, building a well or or or … It will definitely be expensive.

This is SO cool! L.A.-based queer content creator Corey Jacob has been sharing videos of a recent trip to his grandmothers’ house.
His two grandmothers, who have been together for nearly 50 years, broke out the scrapbooks and began telling him “stories about their gay life in the ’60s and ’70s.” And it was just as scandalous as you’d expect!
