Lil Nas X resurfaced Wednesday with his most candid update yet, sharing that he’s spent a few months in rehab and now has a therapist and psychiatrist helping him.

The big reveal: a bipolar diagnosis he’d kept private, delivered with his signature humor:

“Black, gay and bipolar? I’m living life on extreme hard mode.”

It comes nearly a year after his August arrest in Studio City, a case Rolling Stone reported would be dismissed if he stayed in treatment.

The other good news is that apparently new music is on the way! Welcome back, Nas!
