SFX makeup artist Paige Cole has been getting attention for something most people would find absurd: she wears prosthetics daily, peels them off at night, and has zero interest in plastic surgery.

For Cole, it’s more about creative expression, than correction. Prosthetics let her transform and perform—she controls them, changes them, removes them. Surgery locks you in. Prosthetics are reversible!

We live in a time when “natural” gets treated as a virtue and cosmetic procedures swing between celebration and scandal. Cole sidesteps that whole conversation. !! OMG, The anonymous art group ‘The Secret Handshake’ have erected a 10-foot-tall replica of Trump’s birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein on the National Mall !!

An anonymous art collective calling itself The Secret Handshake put a 10-foot replica of Donald Trump’s alleged birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein on the National Mall overnight, near the U.S. Capitol. The installation riffs on the “birthday book” note that has circulated in reporting and political documents, which Trump has denied authoring. 

The piece is set up like a public participation prop: visitors are encouraged to sign the oversized card with their own message to the administration, turning the work into a live guestbook of public reaction. According to reporting, it appeared ahead of Epstein’s Jan. 20 birthday and is permitted for a limited run. Find more photos of the card after the jump.

!! OMG, The Worst of John Waters: Inside his latest art exhibit in New Orleans !!

Step inside “The Worst of John Waters” exhibit for a rare behind-the-scenes look into the strange, funny, and heartfelt mind of John Waters, his art and his relationship to New Orleans.

The exhibit was featured at the Arthur Roger Gallery from October 4th to November 15th in New Orleans, Louisiana. The show featured some of John’s “worst” work — which he describes as “the rudest, the hardest to sell, and the just plain wrong.” The show also featured artwork from two of his closest friends, Frankie Rice and Paul Lee.
